Electronic, self-powered overcurrent protection

The AZT+ devices can be applied to provide safe protection without auxiliary batteries. The features have main advantages in case of failure of the auxiliary DC power supply of the substation; this device provides back-up protection. It can save transformers, cables, overhead lines and other primary equipment in case of loss of DC power suppl y. Due to the special IDMT characteristics, it can be applied for selective protection also in mashed networks.
